Saturday night I was headed to Arco della Pace for a night of dancing, but I had very little time for dinner. From the car I started looking for a good pizzeria nearby, and among the many I chose the corner of Naples, struck by the photos of the pizzas that seemed really inviting.
I called to ask if they make gluten-free and lactose-free pizzas. They said yes, and I also asked if it was possible to eat immediately given the rush. With great helpfulness they told me that it was no problem.
When I arrived at the restaurant, I was greeted with great kindness (I think by the owner's wife) and we sat down. We ordered two pizzas: a classic and a gluten-free one. The first was very good, but the gluten-free pizza was simply excellent.
A honeycomb dough, crunchy, well-formed and tasty. I was particularly struck by the quality of the gluten-free dough: even once cooled, the pizza retained the same characteristics as when it was hot. A detail that denotes a very high quality of the ingredients and the workmanship.
I highly recommend Il Vulcano to anyone looking for a gluten-free pizza that is just as good as the traditional one. Honest prices, friendly service, great professionalism.
Well done! As soon as I return to Milan, it will be a pleasure to come back to you.
