La Casina DC

One of the most unique and delicious Italian foods in DC. It’s pinsa (light pizza) or like a open sandwich. They bring all ingredients from italy including flour and meats. My wife is gluten free in the US, but the flour from Europe does not bother her, so it’s really nice to have a spot to enjoy pinsa together without worrying about allergies. Chef Angelina and Chef Fabrizio are the best. They work hours and hours in the kitchen themselves to make sure serving their guests the highest quality. We are so lucky that they moved here near us and started this awesome restaurant.

My new favorite pizza place! I struggle a lot with gluten and dairy products normally but my partner and I decided to give this place a try after seeing the reviews. It’s SO worth it! The pizzas are a great size for the price and I ate the whole thing without having any sort of reaction/stomach pain! Been here twice and will absolutely be heading back.
