Now that I’ve traveled around New Mexico, I realize just how good La Cueva is. Well versed in Gluten-free and helpful ad our daughter had celiac. No nonsense service. They know what they are doing and happy answer questions. I have not had chile relleno in years and this did not disappoint. My 15 year old did not believe me that it is good, but loved the chile relleno here. Very flavorful. My son loved his chimichanga and our 22 year old had the huitlacoche (corn fungus) enchiladas. Great flavor. We had huitlacoche while living in Mexico and were converted. Lots of cheese! Good but heavy. There is a lot of cheese on the food in NM. I love it but can’t eat this way everyday. 😂 Indoor and outdoor seating.

LITERALLY one of the top 10 meals i have EVER eaten. Service was perfect. Extrmely accommodating of allergies, especially gluten free/wheat allergy and tropical fruit allergies. Small Menu, small setting, amazing meal

Gluten-free Chile Relleno!!! They use a GF flour to make this little gem. I was happy to see the "gluten-free" sign in the window, but even happier when I took the first bite of this chile relleno with green salsa on top. If I lived locally I'd certainly be back again!
