ausmalen Space with delicious 🌱 vegan brunch options- and Gluten-free if wanted.
tasty and flavorful- and if the temperatures would have permitted- sitting outside would give the ambience 5 Stars ;-)
So far have had the salmon lox, chicken and waffles, goat cheese and cherry, and some sort of potato waffle. they’ve all been spectacular. The waffles are fluffy and sweet. Extra brownie points for having plenty of delicious gluten free options. The restaurant itself leaves much to be desired. A lot of it is simple maintenance and upkeep issues. Also limited seating inside but plenty outside.
Ate here twice in a week visit, because hot dogs are always good, and almost the whole menu can be made gluten free. Lots of creative specials, or build your own for the best experience. Tots are super crispy, and so tasty they need no sauce. Good enough to have regulars that eat there every day.
One of the few places in Albuquerque a Celiac can get a burger & fries. 🤞My child HAS not been glutened and we've eaten there more than once. So far it has been a positive experience. The food is delicious. I love the sweet potato fries!
Literally the BEST gluten free pizza I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot of them). I ate a few bites and decided there was no way it was gluten free.. went back to the counter to ask them and they reassured me it was! Even my non gluten free husband couldn’t tell the difference. 🙌🏻
The food is good. However, the menu declares gluten free on their omelet menus yet this is a stretch. Yes, the egg dish is gluten free, however the English muffin that comes with it is not. Usually not an issue but I was informed it would cost an additional 75 cents per slice of gluten free bread and would be able to substitute potatoes for the additional price of a side dish. If they simply had substituted a slice of GF bread for the English muffin I wouldn’t consider even writing this.
Gluten-free Chile Relleno!!! They use a GF flour to make this little gem. I was happy to see the "gluten-free" sign in the window, but even happier when I took the first bite of this chile relleno with green salsa on top. If I lived locally I'd certainly be back again!
We are big fans of Grassburger. We appreciate their attentiveness and consideration for those with allergies. They have great quality food with careful practices that allow people with celiac to enjoy a good burger without the stress of explaining and entrusting cross contamination mitigation practices to them.
The food is always great and the atmosphere is pretty solid, relaxed and comfortable. I love the gluten free options. The service, though, can be very slow; sometimes it takes 25 minutes to get two scrambled eggs when the restaurant is almost empty. Perfectly friendly and competent counter staff, but about half the time I come here my food takes a comically long time to reach me.
The Santa Fe Teahouse is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or lunch while exploring Canyon Road and the historic Eastside. The London Fog teas are incredible (try the Santa Fe fog) and the gluten free scones are the best I've ever had. The whole menu is great and the staff are lovely.
This is a great spot, a straight up homage to the 80s, from video game machines, the red checkered tile floor, to listening to The Cars play while eating. Casual, laid-back, great food, no pretention.
Also, huge plus that they have fantastic gluten free pizza available.
Gather there for family birthdays, because everyone loves the menu variety and delicious food. If you haven't been there yet, you are missing out. Vegan and Gluten options.
Great food and great service with almost everything gluten free options! I have celiac disease, so having a big salad bar and menu of gluten free options is huge
This place is a hit for my husband and I. Service was amazing and food selection is great! I especially love that they are conscious of gluten and other food allergies and are ok with questions about the menu. I would absolutely come here again and look forward to making this a regular spot for brunch or dinner out with family when they come to visit us here.
Stopped in here on Sunday for the first time for a coffee and scone. All of their baked goods looked delicious, and they had a gluten free option as well. They serve satellite coffee on site, and my Mexican Mocha was on point.
The cafe was packed! So busy! The kind cashier said it’s always that busy on Sundays. It was very loud and was a bit too much stimulus for my husband and I to sit inside. We found a table in the sun outside (a bit too cold to sit outside otherwise in December), and enjoyed our coffee and pastry.
Will definitely come back, but certainly not on a Sunday.

The gluten free pancakes are delicious!. They messed up our order and it was delayed by 30 min.. A little misplacing of our order. But I would come back! The place was clean and we beat the Sunday brunch rush! Great place!
Staff is always super friendly. The food is always super great and for 2 years I've been living gluten-free and they honestly have the best gluten-free pizza in town!
Best vegetarian gluten free burger I have ever had. They also have a delicious gluten not carrot cake and brownie. It’s challenging eating out with such an inconvenient allergy but I really appreciate that they have actual meal options and not just salads.
Was driving through Santa Fe with my mom who is gluten free.. found casa Chimayo on a Google search. The food at this family owned restaurant is amazing and the staff is really nice
Wow! I have had pizza from countless pizza joints in the past 22 years over my travels. Vegas, Nashville, South Beach Miami, Orlando and now Santa Fe, NM. The options in Santa Fe for pizza are plentiful and I have had 5 of them, although I won’t name them. The one I will name is Backroad Pizza! A little off the beaten path of downtown, it is well worth the small drive from anywhere in Santa Fe. It has been located @ 1807 2nd St #1, Santa Fe, NM for the entirety of its existence (parking in the rear). From the outside it just looked like a normal building that could have been anything, but step inside and enjoy the quirkiness of the layout and color scheme. The smell hits immediately! For such a small establishment, it was loaded with employees churning out pizzas in the middle of the afternoon and that told me something. I was greeted at the counter with a smile and a chalk board covered in menu items. From fresh salads to garlic knots and then all of the pizza options. There was a nice selection of locally brewed beer on tap. Margherita pizza, you got it. Green chile pizza, sold. Pizza of the moment with unique ingredients, of course. Pizzas made especially for the kids, gotta have it! Customize to your hearts desire, why not? I had the opportunity to speak with the owner, Piper Kapin, who could not have been more friendly. She informed me of her custom corn meal crusted thin crust pizza dough (her personal recipe), how all ingredients were fresh daily and sauce and salad dressings were all made in house. I was sold. She told me a little history and explained her passion for the industry, and showed me around. The property was a little bigger than I thought. There is an extra seating area on the second floor with a small balcony and what a large excellent patio for outdoor seating! (Which is dog friendly!)She (Piper) is very humble and did not even mention that she had been FEATURED on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive Ins and Dives on Food Network….. not once, but twice! I noticed it as I was looking over her website. By this point my mouth was watering watching everyone else’s pizzas go out. I got seated with a number on a small stand and a local cold beer off tap. There was a nice buzz from the locals enjoying their meals and chatting it up. I had ordered a small half new mexican with green chile and half pesto, fresh mozzarella, pepperoni. It only took about 10 minutes despite how busy it was. First thing I noticed - THE CRISPY CORNMEAL CRUSTED DOUGH. Extra thin, great texture, super crispy, foldable without toppings falling off, it looked and smelled delicious. Upon taking my first bite of the New Mexican pizza, I understood the hype. (Where is Dave Portnoy when you need him?) In my mind this just became my go-to pizza hub. So fresh, not bready at all and the toppings and crust shined and meshed perfectly. In the 10-20 minutes I had been seated, every chair in the shop filled up; so much so that I offered my table to an older couple so they didn’t have to stand and wait…and people continued to roll in. I gathered what I had left and boxed it up to go and thanked everyone on the way out. All in all the flavor and delivery is spot on, the staff is all smiles, the atmosphere is fun and it hit on all the high notes. I definitely recommend Backroad Pizza and will continue to provide my patronage! Oh, did I mention there is a gluten free dough option? Annnnd….This place has been voted #1 favorite pizza spot every year since 2012 except for 1 maybe 2 years. Just won 2024! You just need to go see for yourself!
We love coming here for brunch to enjoy the view of pastries in progress and the excellent vegan options. The menu is clearly marked with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options and most of the menu can be veganized with tofu and vegan cheese- amazing! Really wish more places would do this, it’s so much appreciated. The chilaquiles are my personal fave!
Fabulous gluten free pita! Literally one of the best gluten free substitutes you can get in town and they're really consistent, and also great at labeling the orders so we don't get mixed up (I have celiac, my other half does not). We order food here like once a week and it's always great! Fresh, delicious meats, salad and patates. Never change!
Superb pizza and several gluten free (GF) options available. Homemade tiramisu was delicious. Definitely get extra cheese (I agree with pizza reviews for NM that several places skimp a bit). Did not try any wine. Free parking available.
Buffett lunch for nearly 100 people; fresh salad and hot dishes. Nicely done. Several gluten free options (host and others needed gluten free). The room we were in was quite beautiful, fresh, alive. Felt like we were outside in the sun, but we were inside.
Service staff were outstanding. Always close by without hovering. Quick service.
Food was pretty good.
However, the sopaipilla "walls" were quite thick. Almost like a slice of bread was flattened and deep fried. Not very enjoyable.
Overall, though, one of my better visits to El Pinto.
This place was a nice surprise, nice menu, great patio seating. The food tasted delicious! They even had some good options for gluten free.
We weren't sure driving into the parking lot, but we gave it a shot, and glad we did!
Food was great! Service was amazing and the atmosphere is chill. I am a gluten free human and they have WAFFLES THAT ARE DELICIOUS!! All the food was amazing!

Crepe Brulee is my favorite dessert place in ABQ. I am gluten free so I call ahead and let them know I am coming, and they always prepare gluten free batter so I don't have to wait after I order. Their flavors and offerings are amazing. Also, it is owned and operated by the nicest, most welcoming, friendly, and happy people. 10/10 recommend.
The mushroom burger vegetarian gluten free bun was really tasty, it’s hard to find a good one so I was very happy with that. My garden salad was really good too. The regular burger was juicy and tasty. The French fries were horrible, very greasy not cooked enough.
We have been bothered by a beggar while we were eating inside the restaurant. The manager should do his job and don’t let that happen. The waiter could be more helpful he didn’t even come to ask how things were and we felt that we were bothering him when we entered the restaurant. We didn’t feel welcomed and they were in hurry to get our orders even if the place was empty at this time.
A lot of effort to do to make this restaurant a very good one.
Rio Grande is my favorite location. It's always packed and sometimes it can be a challenge to find parking. Seating can be a challenge if the group is more than 2. Otherwise, even though it gets very busy, there's usually always available seating. Love the outdoor seating arrangement as well. Also stoked that they actually have a nice variety of gluten free options.
Food was amazing, ordered the smoked charcuterie board and split the chicken marsala and lemon artichoke fussiloni. They were able to make it gluten free for only $1 extra. Service was great. Definitely make a reservation though which was easy.
The lattes are affordable and always delicious. They’ve got matcha lattes too. I always get the mocha and a gluten-free muffin, for less than what one drink would cost at some places! Chill environment, wifi, friendly service. They have a big cooler of ready-made lunch foods too. Love Koko 🧡
The menu was diverse. I had poached eggs with bacon. The kale salad honestly was my favorite, it was so good!!
The chai tea was special and tasted homemade.
I also got a chocolate chip gluten free cookie, with pistachio glaze. I loved their gluten free selection and knowledge!
I came to work and have some lunch, it was a perfect location!
Vegos is an absolute joyful place to go. The ambiance is wonderful, the owners and staff are thoughtful and kind, the food is amazing. And I looove the new juices. If you're gluten-free, they are very accommodating! The elotes are sooo good.
So good we visited two times during our 5 day stay in Santa Fe! Fun atmosphere during dinnertime! Excellent food and great gluten free items on the menu.
We as a family eat here almost weekly. My 2 year old son was diagnosed with celiac and being gluten free is hard enough let alone with a 2 year old. Their cauliflower crust is amazing for him. And we always have leftovers for him for lunch the next day!!!!
