La Gruta

A Michelin-starred restaurant with a more classic style. The place is fine, although we got a table very close to the kitchen, and it was quite annoying to hear the waiters constantly calling out orders: "main courses on the 10th," "desserts on the 9th," etc. throughout the meal. It felt tiresome. We had the €30 weekday menu. Value for money, it was okay. We weren't impressed with the eggs; they didn't seem up to par with the restaurant's standards. On the other hand, the salmon tataki was delicious, although the portion was somewhat small. The main courses were more substantial and well-prepared. For dessert, the only gluten-free option was the pavlova, and honestly, I didn't like it at all. However, they had gluten-free bread and beer, which is always appreciated. Overall, we don't think we'll return.

We went at night and loved it. We ordered one of the set menus, choosing the one with the most gluten-free options, and it was a great choice. Each dish was a 10, although it's ideal for lunch because it's too much for dinner. Excellent service, a pleasant atmosphere on the terrace, and they recommended a very good wine... The meat dishes were all spectacular. The only downside was that they had almost no fish options because they had run out of some.
