Lafayette's Creperie

I am disappointed! I wanted to love this place. The first time I went here, I had a pleasant experience. The crepes were delightful, and I LOVE that they do gluten free! (Pictures are from the first time we went there.) So, I decided to go back a second time and bring my mom. Unfortunately, the experience tanked from there. We had some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I was so embarrassed to have brought my mom, even though she was kind and patient. We had to wait 20 minutes to even put in our drink order. When I waved over the waitress, she was incredibly rude. We eventually got our drinks 30 minutes in. Sadly, the coffee was cold and bitter. Then we waited for over an 1 hour 10 minutes for our food. I asked the waitress about an update, and she snapped at me that they would just be getting started on our food. I was appalled. We decided that we didn’t want to keep waiting, so we cancelled our order. She angrily told us that they were short staffed. As someone who works in customer service, I understand being short staffed, but I don’t understand treating your customers that way. It was such a disappointing and frustrating experience. It deters me from ever wanting to go back again. :(

Good service and a welcoming atmosphere. There's a wide variety of crepe options with both sweet and savory as well as some other breakfast foods available. Most things look to be able to be made gluten free, which is always nice to see. Overall a great experience every time!

GLUTEN FREE....OMG GLUTEN FREE!!! I went for first time thinking I could only get the yogurt parfait BUT they have gf crepes. I had the blueberry/lemon and it was everything I was hoping for. I had the seasonal blueberry iced chai..... Fabulous. Service was prompt and courteous. Will be back every other week. 😁
