Las Chavelas

Staff is super friendly and it has a great atmosphere. Food is super authentic, reminded me of food I had on a trip South of the border. Taco shells and chips were all made fresh in house, plus the Carnitas were bomb. Portions sizes are fantastic, we left full and had enough for lunch the next day. This is our new go to for Mexican food. Helpful Fact: they label any of their dishes that can be made to order either gluten-free or vegan right on the menu.

We’ve been going here for years and have experienced nothing but amazing service and food. As someone with celiac disease, I’m super thankful we have a local family owned Mexican restaurant where I can safely eat. We’ve enjoyed their food in the restaurant, take out, and delivery — all great experiences food wise and customer service wise. I’ve had Mexican food from up and down the West Coast and this is the best we’ve found in the Hayden/CDA area. It’s unfortunate that some entitled tourists are bashing them AND our area online. Us locals know a great business and family - thank you Las Chevlas!
