We are costa vida regulars, but this location needs some help. The line was long, not unusual for a Costa vida, but it moved incredibly slow. Two from our party walked down to Hokkida Ramen and we're done eating before we got our food. The guy at the start of the line and the cashier were working hard, need a raise, everyone else in-between needs some serious training. We're gluten free and they dropped a flour tortilla into the lettuce. Like three bites of meat in our salads. Cashier had to work extra hard to sort out our orders at the end. They didn't ask us what kind of meat for the kids meals, when we pointed out that they missed grabbing our food off the grill, she said "I'll get to it when I get to it." The franchise owner needs to put some work in here.
Thank you so so much to the employees and management who have made it possible for my wife with Celiac (gluten allergy) to eat here!! We really appreciate the cross contamination procedure so much 🙏

Tried costs vida today for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was fresh and warm, the restaurant was clean, and customer service was great. Also the best tacos in the area and the gluten free tortillas are the best I have had!
If you have celiac and want fast food this is a safe bet. Just tell them when you order and they'll separate your tortillas and they'll even fry your shrimp in a separate pan!
I appreciated the awareness of celiac disease and gluten free items. However, due to cross contamination from a single fryer, most items are not actually gluten free. It’s definitely best to ask questions. The AL Pastor tacos were excellent, although the excessive chunky raw white onion might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

I love eating at this store! I get a small salad (gluten-free), sometimes chips & queso, and a fountain drink. I enjoy the mango salsa, fresh Pico de gallo, and always feel like I got a a good deal for the money spent. This is a favorite place of mine to meet friends for lunch.
No. This place is NOT gf. The waitstaff is kind and attentive but their training must be awful bc they continue to claim their food is GF but they use soy sauce in all their meat. I got sick off this place for years before finally realizing what was going on when a kindhearted server at one of their locations told me about the soy sauce. If you have celiac please steer clear. This place isn’t safe.
Las Brasas has the most delicious street tacos! They are my taco Tuesday go to. The staff is kind and friendly. They offer gluten free options and are very careful about not cross contaminating the food for those with celiac. Such a good overall experience and the food is always so good.
They can’t get gluten free orders right and I am upset three times now I have ordered a gluten free burrito and it was not gluten free and today I get one and they say changed it
Amazing mexican food made with smoked BBQ meats. Friendly efficient servers. Many gluten free options. If you are looking for delicious food, this is the place.

We’ve been going here for years and have experienced nothing but amazing service and food. As someone with celiac disease, I’m super thankful we have a local family owned Mexican restaurant where I can safely eat. We’ve enjoyed their food in the restaurant, take out, and delivery — all great experiences food wise and customer service wise.
I’ve had Mexican food from up and down the West Coast and this is the best we’ve found in the Hayden/CDA area. It’s unfortunate that some entitled tourists are bashing them AND our area online. Us locals know a great business and family - thank you Las Chevlas!
It was our anniversary. We didn't make a reservation. Next time we will. Food was sooo good. We ate at the bar. Skye was out waiter and he went above and beyond to make out day special. He explained the menu and answered questions. Everyone working there was very friendly. Gluten free options too. Thank you Amano.
Celiacs, this place is safe! Some great gluten free food. Didn't get sick. Their online ordering has a button for gluten allergies, dairy allergies, etc. Chips aren't safe but the salsa was amazing.
I noticed fiesta nachos said cheese dip, so I made sure to NOT order those. The regular nachos said just "cheese" but what I received was a cheesy looking sauce, not cheese! I called & they disclosed they were closed but that the cheese dip had gluten!!! Needless to say I had a whole dish I couldn't eat. Their nachos did NOT say cheese dip so I was extremely disappointed. I used to like visiting here. Considering the other item I ordered was a gluten-free burrito. They really should pay attention and make to sure employees are trained on the correct nachos. What's the point of having two different kinds of nachos if they're going to throw gluten sauce on nachos? Fortunately my husband shared the gluten-free burrito so I wasn't so hungry.
I have celiacs and let them know I needed gluten free. They brought a manager to my table to explain my options. This is highly unlikely for any restaurant I’ve been to and I can’t say enough how appreciative I am to the attention to detail they provided.
We love the Whole30 and celiac friendly Gluten Free options.
This last time we visited they very kindly told us didn't have the grilled fajita vegetables (which we love). I was shocked they didn't offer anything to make up for it (double rice, double meat).
Other than that they'd get five stars.
Wow! We found this gem last week and it's absolutely going to be our new go-to for tacos and delicious drinks. The manager and staff were so kind, friendly, and attentive. They handled my gluten and dairy intolerance perfectly. The tacos were generous for the price and delicious - the margaritas were perfection! Planning to come back again this week.
We have been eating here for several years.
It has undergone a radical facelift from what it used to be and is now a full-blown Americana restaurant, with a side of "Zushi" or Americana sushi.
Our servers have always been friendly and there is plenty of staff buzzing around if you need plates cleared or extra napkins.
The atmosphere is very alive, especially the bar side. It can be overwhelming if you are looking for a relaxing meal. But if you want to watch Sunday American football, this is a great option.
Even when the place is packed, we have never experienced an extended wait for food and our drinks have always been kept full.
They have very few vegetarian or gluten free options available on the menu, but they do offer substitutions that will have you paying at least $3 extra, so be aware.
Steak dishes are spendy, but overall it is an affordable place to grab lunch or dinner.
Super nice guy and gal working. They were super friendly and helpful when I told them I had an order with a gluten allergy. They didn’t make me feel bad or guilty to take a few extra steps so my child could have a safe lunch.
Great food, better service...gluten free friendly eats, and never disappoints! The Chile relleno is really good in combos, and their shrimp fajitas are great too! Perfect place for a meal to fill you up!
Great place, super clean and cheery. Food is amazing. I have a gluten allergy and the staff was super helpful to make sure I didn't order anything that may cause me any issues.
The sala is so amazing, I ordered a 32oz container to take home as it beats the pants off any store bought garbage. My wife had the steak fajitas and I had the enchiladas and they are both super delicious. The staff is as delightful as the food is.
Cool place! Very friendly staff my first time in. Taking food to go! Can’t wait to try it! Love that they call out of celiac orders and take precautions for that!
The staff were so helpful to get me gluten free food. I so appreciate how they change their gloves and are so kind. I also love the food. Such a great experience!
They are excellent at meeting the needs of gluten free customers! No only do they change their gloves, they wipe the counter down and change all serving utensils. Plus food is great!
This place is a true gem in Priest River! My husband and I tried it out shortly after moving to the area and now we are hooked! I am vegan/gluten free and I highly recommend their vegetable fajitas sans cheese and sour cream. It’s more than enough for two meals and your mouth will LOVE the flavor of the fajita sauce!. The chips and salsas are also tasty, and especially the cabbage salsa that they serve with them.
Great food with vegan and gluten free options on just about everything.
I love their burgers and taco bowls. The taco bowl is a delicious and filling gluten free route with cauliflower rice and black bean base. The chipotle crema and chicken tinga rock my world.
The burgers are a little greasy but exceedingly delicious. They add interesting toppings like hatch peppers and bacon jam. I'm pretty sure you can even go gluten free and vegan with an impossible burger and gluten free bun.
I have celiac disease and the female manager with dark hair knew exactly what to do! She had her employee wash hands, change gloves, and got me fresh ingredients and changed spoons when serving me. It was a great experience and they really took my allergy seriously!
