Le Saint-Nicolas Hôtel La Rochelle

This hotel was perfect for us. It's centrally located, and we asked for a quiet room. The reception offered us a charming attic room. The bedding was great, as were the sheets and pillows. A varied breakfast (sweet and savory). And, best of all, for me, who is gluten and lactose intolerant (an autoimmune disease), there was everything we needed in gluten-free options: bread, crackers, homemade cake, sheep's milk yogurt, and even peanut butter! A suggestion, offering corn flakes would be a plus, as there were only cereals containing gluten (except oats, which are difficult to digest when cold). Thank you again for the welcome and for everything.

Hotel of very good standard and ideally located in the city. Very neat and tasteful decoration of the establishment. Very quiet hotel. Our room was very clean, very cozy, with very high quality bedding. Perfect bathroom. No noise pollution. Special mention for the very varied buffet breakfast. From sweet to savory, there is something for everyone. Homemade products (shortbread, cake, etc.) and very fresh. Everything is planned, even for people who want to eat healthily (wholemeal bread, oatmeal, soy milk, skyr, eggs, cheese, ham, gluten-free bread, nuts, dried fruit, fresh fruit, etc.) Very warm welcome as well. The only downside is the private parking where the spaces are a little too small if you have a large vehicle. We will return to this hotel without any hesitation. Everything was perfect.
