Hotel of very good standard and ideally located in the city.
Very neat and tasteful decoration of the establishment. Very quiet hotel.
Our room was very clean, very cozy, with very high quality bedding. Perfect bathroom. No noise pollution.
Special mention for the very varied buffet breakfast. From sweet to savory, there is something for everyone. Homemade products (shortbread, cake, etc.) and very fresh. Everything is planned, even for people who want to eat healthily (wholemeal bread, oatmeal, soy milk, skyr, eggs, cheese, ham, gluten-free bread, nuts, dried fruit, fresh fruit, etc.)
Very warm welcome as well.
The only downside is the private parking where the spaces are a little too small if you have a large vehicle.
We will return to this hotel without any hesitation. Everything was perfect.
Relax in a stunning setting with great service, where you can enjoy a meal and bring your pup along for the outdoor vibe—definitely worth a visit!

One of the best restaurants in Mont-de-Marsan at the moment!
We spent New Year's Eve in the Pyrenees and had a wonderful time:
We once again ate very well there! Congratulations to the chef for his mastery of cooking, it is always perfect.
In addition, the atmosphere is warm and modern, the staff is friendly and professional, the dishes come one after the other without waiting, and you feel that the owner really wants to please his guests!
The New Year's Eve meal was a unique meal but it was very kindly adapted (gluten-free diet for 2 people).
Thanks again to the team and see you soon!

Magnificent hotel, I really appreciated the decor which was both chic and warm with some touches of African art. Everything is new, both luxury and cozy! Excellent welcome, attentive, while being discreet. Spacious room, excellent bedding, very high quality skincare products (organic). Location near the station, perfect for business trips: the center and the port are very close but you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Quite exceptional buffet, very wide choice, including detox and gluten-free! I really liked the calm and serenity of the place...
Very good gourmet restaurant. We were welcomed like kings in a large room with a romantic feel by a smiling, pleasant waiter who gave excellent advice, particularly on wines. We got it for 120 euros for two during the week, with two very refined menus at 33 euros using only seasonal and quality products. Two glasses of wine for 7 euros, a plate of excellent cheeses as well and two homemade cocktails, a little expensive but well above most of those for 10 euros in certain trendy bars. Finally, a gluten-free choice for each dish and the bread too (homemade of course). The final twist is that I'm a big eater and I was absolutely no longer hungry when I left. In short, beautiful sequence of dishes without variation in qualities, exquisite and unexpected flavors, great welcome and wine too. See you soon for sure

Dinner was very good last night, but had a lot of trouble to reserve my table!! Send a request by the website (in English) if it was possible to eat with Gluten free diet and if it was possible to visit them in a wheelchair, didn't get an answer! Then 5 days later I've send an email...again no reaction! My friends speak French, they called and finally we could come!! That's very sad bad that they don't answer!! I don't wanna call from the Netherlands to ask them if it was possible to go there...costs me money! So I was a bit unsatisfied that they didn't answer me🙄but our dinner there was very very 👍 good! It was superb...but wish they would have answered me sooner...With kind regards, Monique de Greef

The Auberge de la Petite Reine is located in the heart of the essential tourist visits, which makes it the ideal base for a stay in the Dordogne. In addition, you can enjoy a pleasant swimming pool open from 8 a.m., a bar to enhance your lazy afternoons or to extend your evening, a very pretty park (very well maintained) and an organized barbecue evening Friday evenings. For our stay, we chose full board, but not a standard full board for chef David Masure since he had to adapt to my atopic profile by excluding from his preparations foods that I absolutely must not consume such as peanuts, peanuts, crustaceans/molluscs and gluten (celiac disease) traces also excluded. A challenge that he was able to take on with his team and I was able, just like my husband, to have succulent dishes, different but so good. A real discovery for me with the julienne fillet with orange fennel and small potatoes, so delicious...not to mention their foie gras and other dishes and their small vegetables. Unbeatable value for money!!! So if you want to stop by the Auberge de la Petite Reine, don't hesitate, even if you spill your morning coffee on the fabric seat, Caroline will give you a big smile and assure you that there is no has no problem and will instead worry about you not being burned by the coffee. Thanks also to Carole and Marie-Claude, the right arms of the service. See you soon, we hope. Eric & Amarie NARCISSE Room

It was a stopover on the GR 10 for one night. We fell on the weekend of the village festival which takes place once a year. We appreciated the chance to experience a beautiful evening of music and eat on the terrace of the hotel-restaurant in a festive atmosphere to the sound of traditional songs and accordions. The hotel managers were kind enough to give us the room furthest from the noise so that we could recharge our batteries before leaving the next morning. We spent a very pleasant night: spacious bedroom, functional bathroom, pleasant bedding. All very clean. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Thank you for the special attention for my companion who is "gluten-free" who had a special breakfast. In short, it is an address that I recommend without hesitation.

I had a very pleasant time for an overnight stay with a tasting meal in the evening; the staff is very competent and friendly, knowing how to be discreet and efficient; the sommelier gives good advice to those who know how to listen to it (I am a wine merchant and therefore demanding). Due to the fact that my wife is gluten intolerant, special attention was given to us as well as a commercial gesture for breakfast. This magnificent setting makes us say that we will come back...

The setting is magnificent, wild, the white pond is exceptional, numerous birds, squirrels, coypu, wild boars.... magnificent bracken ferns border the river. The few rooms are, like the entire Villa, decorated with a sober, elegant, harmonious, classy style, nevertheless not pretentious
You immediately feel good, a bright restaurant room facing the pond accommodates around ten tables, mainly couples, so a rather intimate atmosphere.
That's it for the frame.
For the service, Magali and her team are very
professional, while being available, smiling, mischievous, excellent advice.
For the dishes, local products from small producers mainly, seasonal, inventive, subtle play of colors, texture, flavors, without falling into risky choices, unfortunately very often in fashion at the moment.
That evening, asparagus and its variations, saffron from the Landes and yes... smoked foie gras accompanied by sour red fruits, the perfect sweet/savory.
Although it is said that these are tasting portions, don't be fooled, as everything is generous, we are in the south west finally, for good eaters like me, we do not leave with the desire to complete with a garbure and a cassoulet.....
As for the superb wine choices
Being from Bayonne, we chose a white from Savoie from the Domaine des Ardoisières, the Allobroges, for a change, a marvel!!!
Thank you to all this great team who offer the best of French cuisine without pretension or superficiality
So (I hope Magali and David will forgive me) but it will not be the ideal place given the choice of the "discovery" formula, inevitable when you want high-end privacy, which I would recommend to vegetarians, vegans, vegans, allergic to fish, gluten, dairy products, egg, lactose...... We are in the South West!!!

We had a breakdown in Hagetmau on Friday evening and had to find accommodation at very short notice. One call and the owner speaks English and suddenly everything was no longer a problem.
Even after the official dinner time, the kitchen still did magic (regional cuisine with very tasty food and even something gluten-free was spontaneously possible). The room was clean and completely ok. We slept well.
By the way, the pool is great...
Even all of our personal belongings from our car could be stored in the room and since it was raining heavily when we left, the hotelier even offered to bring our things to our car. An incredibly nice and courteous way of dealing with guests.
Thank you very much, we are really happy that you helped us.

Regarding the restaurant: My partner (French) and I (Aussie) loved our 5-course menu - which really seemed more like 7 courses if you count the amuse bouche and the extra dessert with my coffee. The service was great and the waiter spoke in perfect English for me. I also explained my gluten intolerance which was catered to perfectly. I think the garden here is spectacular, especially for lunch. My favourite dish was the tuna but the oyster dish was also superb. I think it deserves more than 1 Michelin star because of the flavour complexities and originality offered by the menu. However, it does this all in a way that encompasses the true Basque spirit while maintaining a modern level of sophistication and class.
