We had more tasty food on our second visit. We had a selection of full English, porridge, avocado egg and bacon. However, I enquired as to whether they could do me a bacon sandwich with the sourdough instead of normal sliced bread as I have a yeast intolerance. I made it clear I was also happy to pay extra, naturally as sourdough often costs more. All we heard was a blunt no in the kitchen and the waitress coming back to offer gluten free options. All this told me was a) they couldn't be bothered as it takes 2 seconds to provide sourdough over normal bread and b) a yeast intolerance is not a gluten intolerance... God forbid anyone with an allergy comes a cropper. Such a shame as we have been before and liked it, can't fault the food but that level of service and being made to feel a pest wasn't particularly pleasant but hey ho!
