A magical evening and delicious meal — we were big fans of our dinner at Leilani’s! We were here celebrating my parent’s 30th Anniversary and they made them feel very special.
I have celiac so I adhere to a gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free diet. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me figure out what my options were. To start, I enjoyed a POG slushie and sipped some of my husband’s POG seltzer- both of which were excellent. For dinner, I chose the grilled filet mignon. I wasn’t able to have the gremolata or bacon mashed potatoes that came with it, so I enjoyed the local vegetables and roasted broccoli (a special) instead. They were fabulous and I loved my meal!
To celebrate my parents, they brought out a slice of hula pie, and I was shocked to learn they had a GF DF SF slice of Lilikoi Pono Pie for me to enjoy! It was Hana breadfruit inspired, Maui honey, Kula strawberries, nut crust, gluten free, no refined sugar or dairy. Truly incredible and the highlight of my vacation! Thank you, Leilani’s, for such a special meal and great accommodations!
