Levain Bakery

Levain Bakery in Bethesda delivers on its reputation for indulgent, oversized cookies—but my experience with the Vegan Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Walnut left me a bit underwhelmed. The cookie had a rich flavor profile, with the chocolate and walnuts complementing each other nicely. However, the texture leaned much heavier than expected. It was very dense—almost too dense—which took away from that signature Levain gooey, slightly crisp-on-the-outside experience.

Prices are fair. They have promos when you buy a certain amount. Limited gluten free options. I loved the chocolate peanut butter one. No seating inside and limited seating outside downing on weather
