Made reservations and informed them we had a person with a gluten allergy. The start was a little rough, with no one really knowing what options were availble with this restriction. But after our server running back and forth to the kitchen options were finally settled on . The meals were excellent, flavorful and well prepared.

We stayed at the Sanderling Resort and were planning on just eating here during our trips because it was convenient, but the prices did not justify the food to be honest. I had a filet mignon and my husband had salmon. Both were very under seasoned and overcooked. The sides were good, not worth $40+ a plate, but good. Also, the menu says gluten free items are marked, but nothing by was marked. Not a big deal, and they made sure to double check on the ingredients for me which I appreciated. It was not clear though if they have a dedicated prep space for allergen folks. The best part was honestly our waiter. He was very nice and accommodating in regard to my allergy. The food was just very underwhelming for the price tag.
