First visit here was several years ago on an overnight stay for a concert. Today I had to go back because that time was so good. Today I went and sat at the bar for brunch the staff (all 4 I encountered) were friendly and helpful answering questions and making suggestions that made my visit amazing. I went for this avocado toast gluten free with added egg and coffee, followed up with a citrus drink they mixed for me (not cocktail) that was the perfect refresher after the delicious meal. 10/10 recommend going here when in Grand Rapids, it is a super adorable yet smaller space so try to go outside the typical meal times or be patient and willing to wait. It’s worth it in my opinion.

Was driving through an unfamiliar city with 2 problems - celiac disease & starving. I had to get food in me quick. I did a search on google for gluten free friendly restaurants nearby and happened upon Littlebird. With two small kids and my husband in tow, we went in. The atmosphere is so lovely, we almost felt bad bringing our kids in with us. The waiter reassured us that everything was fine and they were prepared. I had the best gluten free burger I had thus far on my gluten free journey. My kids highly approved of their regular burgers and fries. The kitchen was transparent with me on what they thought would be safe for me to eat, the chef even came to my table to speak with me directly before cooking my food. I sincerely appreciate how my family was treated. We don’t go to the “big city” often, but next time we do we will be back for more burgers. Thank you, Littlebird.

Everything was delicious!! It was our first time visiting the city and the restaurant. We tried 4 of the menu items, and it just melted in my mouth. The sweet potatoes were yummy. We had the bread pudding toast, sweet potato hash, two eggs toast and potatoes, and avocado toast. I lived the fact that they have vegan, gluten-free options. As a person with GERD, it makes eating much more digestible.
