Gluten free was FANTASTIC!!! & I dont find that very often ..at all !! had a spicy chick..sandwidh & it was awesome!!! even the bun :))))) also beet salad rocked with dill, Can tell quality in ingredients! 100% will be back !!!

Warm, welcoming and tasty food is how I'd describe my Lloyds Lunchbox experience. Another Whitby restaurant gem worth checking out for lunch. I had the opportunity to visit the location twice now and both times thoroughly impressed me. The restaurant does have limited seating but a great overall atmosphere. Vintage with a modern but rustic flare is my best way to describe the space. My first sandwich combo was the greedy pig with the thai butternut squash vegan soup - the warm sandwich had this great crispy crunch and was paired well with all the right toppings. The soup was just right for that fall lunch weather. They do offer a gluten free bread option but it's not mentioned on the menu but feel free to ask and your sandwich can be customized. The second combo was from their deli menu - the famous Lloyds roast beef sandwich with the hardbite BBQ chips. The sandwich was loaded with their famous beef slices and tasted appetizing and well made. Overall the meals are well prepared and great value for what they are priced at. The restaurant is family run and they do make you feel that way both in their service and their meals.
