I visited this cafe while on vacation with my girlfriend & I wish I could take it home with me! The menu was creative. The london fog is finished with charcoal. They offered a lot of gluten free items. I had the most delicious gluten free pastries here. The coffee was great & the cafe itself is very chic. The patrons were fun to listen to & mesh with. There were a lot of regulars. We ordered the flower child & the encinitas on gluten free bread. The bread was dense & dry, but overall okay for gf bread. I would like to try more of their menu next time. We will definitely visit when we come back to San Diego!

We were told to come for the açai bowls but ended up with gluten free pastries! I casually asked what one of the pastries was and was surprised to find that half of their baked goods that day were gluten free and some vegan. My celiac friend also noted that it was nice that all the gluten free pastries were on one side so as to not touch the gluten full pastries. We ended up with a few pastries including this lemon cookie that was fluffy and absolutely delicious. I am not celiac and enjoyed this lemon treat all the same.
Thank you for serving in house coffee in an actual mug! This has become a pet peeve of mine. I wanted a mug and they were happy to oblige. Many of their flavors are made in house so you don't get that overly sweet flavor that hurts your teeth. Highly recommend the salted caramel and vanilla flavors!

They have so much seating space and so much of it is outdoors, which is just perfect! Their cofee is delightful, I had the Turkish cardamom latte, it was so good. The croissant and gluten free lemon cookie were also outstanding.
