LongHorn Steakhouse

I just wanted to drop in and give a shoutout to Longhorn Steakhouse in Cookeville, and our exemplary server CJ. I went there tonight with my Fiance who has Celiac Disease, I dont think weve ever been somewhere quite as hospitable to her condition as this restaurant, they have a seperate gluten free menu, as well their menu specifies item by item wether they are gluten free which is rare and apprecieated. CJ was super personable and pleasnt to talk to, I havent ran into a server of his caliber in quite some time. In addition the food was sincerely awesome, steaks cooked to absolute perfection, the cook definitely has some skills. I can assure you we will be returning to this location soley because of this awesome server and the delicous food. Couldnt recommend this place more.

We had a wonderful time and meal ! Our waiter was CJ and he couldn't be any nicer,helpful. I ordered the loaded baked potato and roasted corn on the cob. Since I am Gluten sensitive I couldn't order it with the seasonings on the corn. It was quite black when it was served with my potato. It didn't taste like much, but the loaded baked potato made up for it. It was quite large with cheese,onions, bacon bits( it was real bacon) and sour cream. My friend ordered the strip steak,salad with blue cheese dressing, loaded potato, and for dessert the lava cake with ice cream, chocolate and caramel sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly,and the blue cheese dressing was very tasty. CJ was very excited to take our orders, so kind and took the time to show me the allergen folder that showed what food allergens were on certain foods.
