Louisville Cream

Great ice cream stop! A little more expensive, but it's made fresh and with local milk and homemade waffle and pretzel cones available, so I feel like the quality makes the price worth it. Quite a few flavors to choose from. My family chose a root beer float, the smoked bourbon pecan, pistachio honeycomb, golden Oreo cookies and cream, and chocolate with caramelized bananas on top. Everyone was happy with their order. The flavors of all were superb! They also had maybe six baked goods that looked homemade such as a banana pudding cookie, fluffernutter brownie and a regular brownie. We did not sample any of them because my daughter cannot have gluten, but if she did not have that dietary restriction, it would have been tempting to sample one of the baked items, as well! I believe you can get ice cream sandwiches made with these baked items.

All their pictures looked delectable and I kept hearing about their gluten and dairy free options. I finally got to go but honestly, the allergen free options were very limited and you have to read the ingredients of each flavor. There's not a separate list. I had the vegan pistachio honey comb. I was hoping for some actual hunks of pistachio but it was honestly TOO sweet. I just like a lot of texture. My husband throughly enjoyed his Strawberry Marscepone and the kids liked theirs. I may give them another try down the road.
