Lubbies Bagels

This is a hidden gem. I don’t often find a place that can serve tasty gluten free options. This place has a gluten free bagel (i know it sounds like an oxymoron) that is tasty. I had the steal and eggs breakfast bagel sandwich. It was tasty with strips of skirt steak. Their cinnamon raisin bagel is also delicious. In addition, they have a good coffee selection with cortados and such. The cortado is good. There was a young gentleman working the cash register that seemed to be doing it all, barista work, putting together the bagels, taking care of online orders, et cetera. There is a bit of a wait if you order it there. It seems like the trick to getting in and out is to do an online order. All in all, this place is a new favourite.

Finally got to stop in today since it looked a little less packed than most weekends and I can say we will be going back regularly. The bagels were delicious and the schmears were phenomenal! I wanted to try the walnut fig honey schmear and whoever was helping us found me the last cinnamon raisin bagel and it was the perfect pairing. Also , I should mention that I am mostly gluten free so I was initially not even going to have one. We just went for my husband to try them, but they told us they use high quality organic flour and a sourdough base which usually means it’s gentler on your stomach and my stomach definitely agreed :). We live down the street from here so very excited to have such a quality place so close to us!
