MA Bremen-Schlachte

We went to MA for brunch and were completely satisfied. From the booking, to the food and to the great staff. Large selection of dishes, also very diverse for vegetarians. Only a gluten-free bread alternative would top it all. However, this is more of a suggestion and is definitely not to be understood as criticism.

First the positive: * The restaurant is very nicely and comfortably furnished. You immediately feel comfortable * The male waiter responded to my requests (I wanted the food at a certain time) and the female waiter who collected the money at the end was very nice * The drink and food selection is good Now the reason why I only give 3 stars: * The male waitress seemed to have a problem with his temper and constantly felt attacked. I had previously said that I didn't need bread (I don't eat gluten and it would have just been a waste of food). When he did bring me bread, I calmly pointed out that I didn't need it. He grabbed the bread, waved his arms and shouted: 'Yes! I forgot!'. Like I scolded him. I wasn't an isolated case. At another table, where there were only women, he started a loud conversation with the guests. In general he seemed to have a problem with his feelings, and this seemed to be exacerbated by the fact that he 'had' to exclusively serve women (there were no male customers in the restaurant when I was there). That seemed to scratch his ego. Overall, it would of course be unfair to rate a restaurant based solely on the behavior of a single person. That's why I don't want to advise against going there across the board.
