MAISON OFLORE | Restaurant de gaufres à Montréal

My friend and stopped here while exploring on our first trip to Montreal and what a hidden gem! A perfect stop for breakfast or lunch, we had a regular waffle scrambled egg sandwich, a vegan/gluten free avocado sandwich and their fermented hibiscus lemonade. The food was very good, and the service was warm and friendly, but the atmosphere was the real standout! Their outdoor eating space in the back of the cafe is a little courtyard full of ivy, greenery, and a winding staircase that felt like we were transported right out of Montreal to a little waffle fairy cafe! Highly recommend making a stop here!

Sooo yummmy! We happened to walk by this place and decided to have breakfast here. Not being from the area, I wasn’t sure what to expect but the food we received was fresh and delicious!! We do not have celiac but do have sensitivities to wheat and we all did great with the buckwheat waffles! And I seriously can’t get over how delicious they were! The drinks were equally good. Here is what we tried: Eggs Waffle Sandwich Ham Waffle Sandwich Eggs and Ham Waffle Sandwich Fried Chicken Sandwich Waffle (note that the chicken is breaded which does contain wheat) Honey and Peanut Butter Waffle Nutella Waffle Unsweetened matcha latte Mocha And the man who was running the place was super nice and friendly, and thoughtful too—making sure that our drinks were perfectly hot when we picked up our food. I wish we lived in Montreal so I could have a matcha latter and a waffle from Maison Oflore every day!!
