If I could give zero stars I would. Please read other comments/ reviews that were made recently and see that there are continuous problems with the value of the food but most of all the management. The woman who claims she is the manager has the most appalling attitude and poor organisational skills. Sitting my family which is inclusive of a Baby under 12 months next to the live loud music despite having a booking is not good enough. Giving my husband gluten even though I specified he is gluten intolerant is not good enough. When I asked to speak to the host she was shouting in my face She was the manager and had an awful attitude. I never asked if you were the manager. I asked if we could sit somewhere else! You are confrontational and the rest of the staff there were dancing around like it was their first day. We asked several times for various things and had a massive Wait time. If we were lucky enough that something was brought to us. Paid $85 for 13 bites of food. Save your money and go somewhere else. Newcastle has a lot of options that are WORTH it.

We had a deer friends birthday dinner at Meet tonight, we were taken care of immensely by our wait staff and Pete and Jess made sure our birthday girl was greatly looked after during our Churrasco tasting menu. The cocktails recommended by the waitstaff were enjoyed by our whole table. And even our one gluten free guest was able to enjoy the majority of the meals. Highly recommend trying this Brazilian restaurant and couldn’t speak higher on the way we were looked after

MEET is an unexpected gem in the heart of Newcastle. From the moment I stepped through its doors, I knew I was in for something truly special. The team have curated an exceptional menu that showcases the rich culinary heritage of Brazil. Each dish is a symphony of flavours, skilfully prepared using the finest ingredients. The churrasco experience at MEET is something every food enthusiast should indulge in. The selection of premium meats were grilled to perfection and served table-side by expert servers. The flavours were bold, the textures delightful, and the whole experience truly indulgent. As someone with Coeliac disease, dining out at restaurants can be a stressful experience; but it was not an issue at all. Most of the menu is naturally gluten-free (including the cheese bread!) and the staff were aware of allergies and dietary requirements and made sure that I was looked after. The impeccable service, stunning ambiance, and, most importantly, the outstanding food make MEET a must-visit destination for all foodies in Newcastle.
