We visited a few months ago, and absolutely loved the restaurant. Not only were there MANY options for dairy free and gluten free, there may have been TOO MANY that I wanted to try. But seriously, each dish we had was perfect, the staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for allergen conscious diners. I have attached photos but they're extremely blurry (and half eaten), but it will help out if anyone would like to look at the GF and DF options :)

Had the bar beach burger on gluten free bun with the bar fries and it was superb, very filling and plenty of dining space at hunter street location, I highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for a good burger, and if you are gluten intolerant like I am if you’re in the centre of Newcastle

Stunning spot right on the waterfront. Fantastic service. Delicious gluten free options. Loved the hand cut chips. Kids enjoyed the kids meal, colouring in, Gelato and the lawn game.

Amazing dinner and cocktail place. Great vibe inside and out, lots of share plates and great for small groups. We had a guest who was coeliac and they were so accommodating with this and able to provide gluten free dishes with no contamination.

Searched for a Gluten Free friendly venue near the Civic Theatre and this came highly recommended. Great location, great view and relaxing vibes. Good sized menu lots of choices for Gluten Free incl tapas style dishes, burgers, pizza, schnitzels. Separate fryer for GF food with good understanding of coeliacs

My family and I had a lovely meal here and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed to find I had been charged $2 for a piece of gluten-free bread. My daughter-in-law has celiac disease. The dish came with 3 pieces of focaccia bread and they took one of the pieces away and replaced it with a piece of plain gluten-free toast that I was charged for. The meal cost well over $200 so it wasn't that I was concerned about the price. It's the principle! Why are businesses so stingy and mean-spirited these days? All it serves to do is make their customers feel upset and ripped off. On principle, I probably won't go back.
