MISSION BBQ

I had a fantastic experience here. Being celiac i informed the person taking my order of this and they provided me an allergen menu that clearly laid out what was safe for me. They put an alert on my order, walked back to the team preparing the food to inform them and The team changed their gloves out and flagged the meal. Its an open air sittuation so I could see them prepare my food. As they were loading my plate someone came over with corn bread to include and the manager immediately caught this and said nope we need to start over here and change all our gloves out again. I thanked her as I picked up my food and she also informed me there was only one bbq on the table that has gluten and I should steer clear from. Overall I felt they were knowledgable, clean, informed and did everything to make sure I didn't feel awkward for my requests. I truly appreciated their care..: the food was also delicious and most of the menu was celiac safe.

The restaurant was clean. Staff was very knowledgeable about gluten free options. Kid friendly. My food was delightful - the half chicken was nicely spiced. My daughter loved her mac and cheese. One staff member- Mary - did an exceptional job. She was attentive to the tables around us, kind, and gave us the wonderful idea to put the white sauce on the French fries (100% a great idea).

The place was great over all. The guy taking our order was friendly and as son as he found out our daughter was gluten free, he explained all her options and which sauces she can have. He then turned around and asked the cooks to change gloves to not cross contaminate. Then the food was delicious, everything we ordered was great. Then there was an older lady who walked around asking if we needed refills, or boxes etc. So nice! When I comment how nice they were, she then brought us 2 coupons for free sandwiches! Just awesome experience.
