Wow! Their gluten free is fantastic. I loved the blueberry scone. My client had brought me one. So I decided to go. Imagine my disappointment when I was told they don't take cash. I work in a boutique salon. I cannot fathom telling clients we don't take cash. With haircuts ranging from 100 to 150 some pay cash. This is the second busines that will probably lose my business due to that or severely limit it. (The first one I've never been back to.)
Instead of going several times a week because they're near where I live and work. I may end up going twice a month. Does that matter? If I'm spending $10 to $20 twice a week as opposed to $20 twice a month it should. I realize it probably doesn't matter to everyone because everybody's life revolves around plastic. I got great advice from financial planners that stop me from doing that. I give myself a cash allowance for things like going to the bakery or the coffee shop. I have one credit card and it's for emergencies only. So when the young lady asked me today is that a problem? The answer is yes. Yes it is. When I walk into a door with cash and you only take plastic sorry but you're not going to make me change the way I do things in order to buy your goods.
