Macayo's Mexican Food

A traditional Mexican style restaurant with very good renditions of popular dishes. They understand the importance of lots of cheese 🧀. Their white Baja cheese sauce is a winner! They also offer either black beans or refried beans with plates. Enchiladas made with corn tortillas are ok for gluten sensitive folks. Their cheese enchiladas are what I get since their meat enchiladas are traditional; which means dry meat and all the sauce on the enchiladas' outsides. Portions are generous, and the cheese dip appetizer is fabulous. In temperate weather there is outdoor seating near the little lake. It's a popular place.
