Dinner for 2 on a Tuesday night which was packed with people, luckily we made a booking. We got the signature set for $190 per person, which I felt was plenty of food. Everything we had was delicious and cooked to perfection, especially the citrus butter scallops, glazed fish collar, wagyu shish and slow roasted lamb shoulder. They tried to accomodate my gluten intolerance by swapping for gf bread, gf breadcrumbs and gf chocolate mousse which was great! Atmosphere was classy and dark however was noisy due to being cramped with people. Service was amazing with waiters explaining each dish however again it was too noisy to hear them. It is on the pricier side, we spent almost $500 including drinks for 2 of us, so not a place I’d come to often. But it was nice for a birthday celebration.

Went to Maha having heard mixed reviews. We attended on a public holiday for dinner and was aware there would be an 18% surcharge which was a lot. Decor of restaurant was lovely. Unfortunately it took a long time for us to get drinks and took around 20/30 mins for us to even get food menus… Cocktails were very watery which was disappointing. They cater very well to gluten free and vegans, as they have a separate vegan menu. We did the $175 menu, one normal and one vegan. Food was presented beautifully, however, did not enjoy all dishes, but dessert was lovely. We paid $570 for two people, which included food, 2 cocktails and a half bottle of wine, plus surcharge. Overall, restaurant was over priced and didn’t meet expectations which was disappointing.
