Mallard Lounge

Great ambiance and live music. I had the greenest curry I've ever eaten. Portions are on the smaller side on certain dishes but not as bad as you'd expect for a Fairmont property. Our server was woefully ill-trained on the menu. I had to teach them the difference between gluten free and vegan. They then suggested "any salad or the grilled cheese" even though not one salad is close to vegan and I obviously don't eat cheese. When asked what the shrimp pasta sauce was like they told my husband, "Isn't it in the menu?" Had to ask for water three times...no tip value on water so it wasn't priority I guess.
