Malone's - Louisville

It’s so disappointing that a restaurant of this caliber does not have gluten free substitutions. The menu looks great but with minor tweaks like gluten free linguini, gluten free bread or substituting the fried chicken for grilled would suffice. Only things gluten free were shrimp appetizers, salmon and a few sides. If im allergic to seafood then that eliminates all protein. More innovative efforts on the menu to mimic the consideration of similar restaurants around the country would be a great move. I won’t be back until those efforts are made.

I visited this Malone's location for lunch last Friday and had a fantastic experience! I was able to be seated immediately without a reservation, which was a nice surprise considering how popular this place is and how lively it gets for dinners. Malone's is definitely a fantastic spot for a spontaneous lunch if you want a great experience. The service here is excellent and very attentive. A special shoutout to Collin and Derek, who are amazing bartenders. I'll definitely be coming back for their old-fashioned! Malone's truly has something for everyone, including vegetarian options and a great variety of drinks. I was surprised to see that they offer premium tequila and have strict allergy precautions, including gluten-free options. The cozy lounge area adds to the wonderful atmosphere. I will definitely need to dine there next time. For any chocolate lovers out there, I highly recommend their chocolate cake – it’s absolutely delicious. Can't wait to be back!
