I felt compelled to write this review, first restaurant review for me. Great experience, charismatic owner, make certain to engage her. All food was great.
Why I am writing this is I love pizza, but have not been able to eat it for years, the gluten in pizza make me ill, even though i am not gluten intolerant with any other foods. I have missed it. In talking to the owner she explained how her flour and process is different. She was so convincing I ordered and ate one of the best pizzas ever, the crust was clearly unique. Later I waited for the pain to start. It never did.
The whole experience of this restaurant is what we all want a neighborhood restaurant to be.
I live 2 hours from LIC but it is now in my neighborhood when possible.
