GLUTEN FREE: Suizas one cheese and one shredded beef. Easy to split between two & awesome!

We usually go to Bella’s Mexican restaurant and today we wanted to try something different. We were seated fast and the lady who sat us was nice and the gal that brought chips, salsa and waters was also nice. I asked if they had a gluten free menu and she said no but she did name off a couple of things that were gluten free. Our waiter came up to us to get our order and I started off saying that I am gluten free for an allergy. His response was “k” didn’t seem very interested. Told him what I wanted and said no refried bean or rice and he said our beans are gluten free and I said hmm they normally aren’t. His response was “well ours are” (without any kind of education on HOW they are gluten free) had a little sass behind that response. I still did not want the beans. Again, allergy and I don’t want to test it on beans. We get our food and my tacos seemed to be balled up ground beef with no taste or flavor instead of the carne Asada that isn’t ground beef and also usually has some taste to it. After eating what we could we were ready for our check but no waiter to be found. After a few minutes spotted our waiter standing in the back just on his phone along with the waiter sitting at the bar on his phone and the waitress behind the bar on her phone. Seemed like they were all more into whatever was on their phones than actually working. Safe to say that we will continue to go to Bella’s (that has majority gluten free options) and they seem to care about their customers 100% more.

The food was delicious but our server seemed to forget we were there. Others who were seated after us got service, check, and boxes before us. Not a fan of that. Otherwise it was great. However, the website says gluten free options. It ends up that there is one option for gluten-free, chicken enchiladas. So if that's something you need to be aware of, you might want to choose a more gluten-friendly place.
