⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Marlow’s Barbecue is an absolute gem! Not only is it rich in history—Elvis himself used to eat and hang out here when he was a sheriff—but the food and service are top-notch. Did I mention that they’ll come pick you up in a limo for free? It’s complementary, but don’t forget to tip the amazing Driver ,who is also an awesome person. Three generations of owners have kept this place alive, and you can feel the passion in every bite. Our server was Kristy. She was fairly new there and an absolute prize. The current owner Michael is on-site and incredibly knowledgeable, especially when it comes to celiac and food allergies, which is a rare and much-appreciated find. I have celiac so finding somewhere safe to eat everywhere I go is always a goal. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and there’s Elvis memorabilia everywhere. This place is like a museum and an incredible restaurant and the food is absolutely phenomenal. For me, this place checks all the boxes. I can’t recommend it enough!

The free pink Cadillac limo pick-up and drop-off added a fun, unique touch that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. My dietary restrictions can make dining out tricky, but the owner, Michael, went above and beyond—he personally prepared our meal to ensure it was 100% gluten-free. That kind of care and attention is rare, and it made all the difference. Our server, Christy, was incredible—attentive, friendly, and on top of everything from start to finish. She made sure we had everything we needed and kept the experience smooth and enjoyable. And the history? Unbeatable. Knowing that Elvis himself used to eat here just adds to the charm. You can feel the Memphis music and BBQ culture in every bite. If you’re in Memphis, Marlowe’s is a must-visit.
