Mary Jane bourbon + smokehouse

We purposely stopped in this city because the food here was so great last year. Now they say all their seasonings have gluten in them. Makes no sense! Very disappointing!

Cool spot with some fun and unique decor choices and great natural light, lots of space -- awesome place to bring large groups. Our server, Trey, was awesome. Super efficient and nice. Hostess was great, too. Always feels good to get a good vibe from the moment you step in! Food was on point. We shared the nachos; chips are sturdy and there are a few different kinds, which was different and we all commented that we liked. Flavorful, and enough toppings! They are very accommodating for gluten free options even though none are specifically mentioned on the menu, a lot of it is inherently so or they'll happily put a sandwich on lettuce. I had the chicken pesto, which was fine - nothing too special, but I really enjoyed the Caesar salad (a simple go-to but it's so nice when it's dressed well and fresh), and my friends had the pulled pork sandwich and a burger and both enjoyed. Fries are also fire. Too often, I'm disappointed by the quality of fries and these were great! Would definitely come again next time I'm in town!
