Masaniello Restaurant

Menu looks good but when the food arrived to the table it was just not good. The gluten free options were limited and what we got looked and tasted like something we could make at home. Definitely not worth €16 per main course. Service was slow and we waited 30 min for our main course. Rose wine we had came lukewarm.

The “Masaniello” restaurant opens on Corso Reggina, in Piazza D'Amato,2 in Maiori (a side street on the seafront). Completely renovated in its furnishings and table layout, it will surprise you with the usual excellent dishes. Chef Vincenzo is very imaginative but attentive to the Mediterranean and Amalfi tradition of the dishes he offers, sometimes revisited, but always with fresh and possibly zero-mile products. The fish reigns supreme with frying, crazy water, baked, but I always repeat with the freshness of the catch. He is available, attentive and ready to advise you and explain the various proposals, as is all the staff. Let yourself be pampered and you will leave satisfied. The pizza it offers also follows the same standards of ingredients and leavening which make it tasty and light. Vegetarians and vegans can also eat but gluten-free people can also sit. The cellar is adequate.
