Mezzaluna

Yummy little Italian restaurant with a full bar and extensive beer and wine list. I had the trout with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. It was prepared nicely, but the broccoli had zero seasoning so I held back a star. Being a gluten-free person always on the hunt for pizza that doesn't hurt, I didn't have that option here. No biggie. Very comfortable place to have dinner with a friend. The broken brick work on the wall was in the shape of Italy. Clever! All of the ladies that were serving or hosting were really helpful and prompt. I'll happily go back when in Hendersonville.

absolutely love Mezzaluna! the food is the kind of mindblowing that makes even the worst days better with a single bite, and the employees are always friendly. our usual waitress, Shawnee, is an absolute superstar and excellent at advising about gluten free options (of which they have several). her quick wit, charisma, and knowledge of the menu makes for a wonderful evening every time. I would live off of their artichoke heart appetizers if it was humanly possible!
