From the moment we arrived at Miller & Carter, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at ease. The ambiance was stylish yet relaxed — the perfect backdrop for what turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. What truly made our evening stand out was the exceptional service from our waitress, Laura. She was absolutely brilliant. As we’re newly gluten-free, eating out has become a bit of a challenge, but Laura handled everything with such professionalism, care, and genuine warmth. She took the time to clearly explain the gluten-free options, highlighted which dishes could be adapted, and gave us complete confidence in the kitchen’s handling of dietary requirements. Her knowledge was impressive, and her reassuring manner made all the difference. The food was, as always, outstanding. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were fresh and flavourful, and it was such a joy to be able to enjoy a full meal without any worry — all thanks to Laura’s attention to detail and the restaurant’s thoughtful approach to dietary needs. Laura truly went above and beyond, and it’s rare to come across service that feels so personal and genuine. We left feeling not only full but completely cared for. A huge thank you to Laura and the team at Miller & Carter — we’ll absolutely be back, and recommending this restaurant to all our friends, especially those with dietary restrictions who still want an incredible dining experience.

Laura was our server today she was such a lovely lady and as a coeliac really helped me with my menu choices. She was so helpful and could not have asked for more! Plus the food was lush which always helps! Pleasure to meet the lovely Laura! She deserves a reward for being so nice xx

Laura made our night tonight! We were warmly greeted and her service was immaculate... I asked whether the steak sauce was gluten free and she returned with a whole gluten free menu for me! This was such a nice surprise as restaurants do not usually cater for gluten-intolerances or people with coeliac disease; she reassured me I could have anything off of the menu with no problems at all. Laura really put a smile on all of our faces and made our evening perfect! She is a lovely lady who had all of our best interests at heart and made us laugh lots! Thank you for the most amazing service tonight it was a great experience!
