Milie’s Cafe has so many options, from vegan to regular and gluten-free! I ordered the Devil’s Mess and it was packed with bold, delicious flavors. My hubby got The Usual with gluten-free pancakes and they were 🔥. We also loved their fresh, homemade orange juice, and the Blue Majik latte was a refreshing and tasty surprise. Highly recommend for a flavorful and inclusive brunch spot!

A nice place for a complete breakfast but unfortunately, the gluten free options are not for celiacs.

I don't like to give bad reviews but I feel this one is important. There are lots of positives about this cafe and I recommend it for people who don't have allergy concerns. I however, do, and they failed to meet my needs in spite of telling me the food was safe at least a few times. I have celiac, and I'm also a vegetarian. The vegetarian options were awesome and tasted good. I ordered a gluten free Belgian waffle and reminded our very nice server three times that I have a severe allergy. I asked to confirm the gluten free status of the food and asked them to communicate to the kitchen that I have an allergy. None of this was an issue, I was met with all positives. Clarifications were made and questions answered, I felt good. Our food was delivered and we confirmed that our dishes were definitely gluten free and we were told yes. We dug in and it was all delicious. I did not detect gluten in my food, which I usually will notice within a few bites. The taste lingers in my mouth. 3 hours later I started to have a full blown attack and I am now completely bed ridden and disabled. Saying that your food is gluten free and safe for allergy's and celiacs is a really important responsibility to get right. You are ensuring people they can trust you with their lives and, in my case, their ability to function and keep up with daily activities for months. So many things are impacted for so long when people have a celiac reaction. Sometimes it requires hospitalization. All the time it takes weeks for me to recover. This is my first exposure in 2 years because I am so careful and communicative and I have never been so ensured I was safe and so wrong. I won't be returning and I warn anyone with allergies or celiac to order items here that are always gluten free and ask a lot of questions regarding cross contamination and trace ingredients. Dine at your own risk. Food: tastes good but caused a devastating reaction when it was promised to be gluten free. Service: our server was very kind and nice but failed to ensure the allergy was taken care of after much assurance. Atmosphere: we sat outside. It’s a busy intersection. Lots of horn honking and people blasting through with loud cars or motorcycles. It’s not a place to take your time.
