The space is pretty small and cozy. Greatxservice and food is worth the trip. We love the polenta and mushroom appetizer. The eggplant is always a home run. They do offer gluten free pasta if that is important to you.

Had a problem with my meal and service tonight. Called ahead to double check that could accommodate food allergies (gluten intolerance and a dairy allergy). The person I spoke said that they could make the appropriate accommodations. I showed up with two other people and we are seated (we are the only ones in the restaurant). The server asked what we wanted and we asked for a pasta with no cheese products for one person, and the server told us, “unfortunately we do not do any type of accommodations.” We had to explain that we spoke to someone that said it would be okay to change the dish to be without any dairy. The servers reply was, “ we never make changes to the menu but I have to go double check.” She takes the rest of our orders and takes maybe 20-25 minutes to get the food. The food was subpar. It was better than Olive Garden but not as good as a couple of other Italians restaurants I’ve been to. Will be calling the restaurant tomorrow to complain. Would recommend Antonio’s in Addison circle for anyone who wants Italian food with great service.
