Mirabelles Bakery

We were in town for just a few days and found this bakery to try. It exceeded expectations. Everything was delicious, gorgeously crafted, and fairly priced. We tried cookies, the mango croissant, a gluten free chocolate cherry muffin (so good I forgot it was gluten free), and a signature croissant style pastry they make with a French name I can't remember and more! Everything was so good that we went back the next morning to grab treats to take home and found they had slices of pizza that made a fabulous lunch on the go. The people at the counter were really lovely and gave us great local recommendations to explore.

I called to order a cake for my daughter’s wedding shower. Mirabelle’s made MY wedding cake. I developed celiac, and my daughter has it as well: I asked if my original raspberry chocolate mousse cake could be made gluten free; they asked, were able to order me one very similar. I asked for a receipt itemizing what I ordered and when I would pick it up, since I was calling from out of state. After several hours, only a credit card charge. I called back and asked for an itemized receipt - asking for date of pickup and type of cake to be on the receipt. I then received a simple email receipt that said “open cake” and the charge. I called back, was placed on hold, and then disconnected. I called back AGAIN, and reiterated that I would like an itemized receipt with what I ordered, and the pick up date. I was calling 8 weeks out and wanted proof of my order pickup date and that it was the gluten free version. I was told they couldn’t do that on square and “I don’t understand what the problem is.” “We don’t make mistakes.” I asked for a refund because if they don’t see any problems with any of these interactions…..so much for nostalgia.

I got a variety of small desserts for a birthday party and they were so delicious!!! They also have gluten free options.
