The Mirboo North Hotel gets a contextual 5 stars for the sensational food!!!! Worked nearby for a week and after the first night didn't bother looking anywhere else.
Firstly the menu is fantastic. Great variety, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free friendly with heaps of choice. The diversity is only matched by the quality. Really well thought out dishes with a great flavour profile.
The pork belly was especially good. Perfectly cooked, nice crunchy crackling, juicy pork, complimented with a sweet poached pear. The Lamb shank gnocchi was also excellent. All chicken schnitzels are house made with chicken breast and a delicious herb crum-base.
Don't let the decor fool you. This place is a gem. Made my trip. Thanks Mirboo North Hotel :)
