Great place in ballarat for anything you want . Also have quite a few things gluten free on the menu. Wonderful place having a meal looking over the lake.

We had an excellent time at the Apollo Bay Hotel. Me and 3 friends arrived late into Apollo bay and wanted a decent feed. We came about 30 minutes until the kitchen closed and were met with such welcoming and accomodating customer service. I’m devastated I didn’t get her name, but the groovy woman in the black denim shorts was a gem. She ensured my celiac bestie had nothing to worry about. She offered gf replacements for non-gf elements of the meals. The serving sizes were very generous and delicious. We ate like 50 muscles. It was so good we forgot about our wine ! We will definitely be back, hopefully to see our lovely waitress.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Being a coeliac it was beyond fantastic to see that practically every meal was gluten friendly. The meals were great. The decor is amazing. The service was friendly.

Fantastic for coeliac gluten-free. They understand coeliac, and the menu states when something is low-gluten vs. coeliac-safe, so you aren't left guessing. heaps of options. loved my parma with veg and mash today.

We had a great gluten-free lunch here at The Royal Hotel in Seymour. Typical country pub with all the classics on the menu, except almost the entire menu is gluten free! I really enjoyed my GF Chicken Parmigiana and would love to eat here another time next time we drive through. The only thing that could have topped it off, is if they would have had a gluten-free beer! But maybe one day :-)

Really really bad service, waiting for 10 mins for menus waiting 10-15 mins for a waiter to take my order, no table service had to continual ask for things like cutlery, water etc. And to top it all off they stuffed up the order........Fuming AND the wait staff were busy running around doing minimal cleaning work or talking or throwing stuff to the other staff behind me. Like i was at a football event To put this into context it was not busy, just badly staffed and disorganized Really really disappointed I did order Gluten Free so fingers crossed my son does not get sick because if he does I will be making an official complaint!!

What a treat. I had the gluten free Parmigiana, celiac friendly. We had a lovely lunch with the family, no reservation, but we were squeezed in. Service and food was great. Lovely find in the middle of the countryside. We will be back!

My partner and I were on our way home to Melbourne from Swan Hill. We just randomly found this place for dinner because we saw the rating in google and also saw the photo that they serve steak. I found the green peppercorn sauce for the steak was absolutely fantastic. The peppercorn flavour is strong enough that you know it’s pepper sauce. I know a lot of places stuff it up. The salads in the dishes are very nice and fresh, unlike the soggy soft and disgusting one in the supermarket. Gluten free option for fisherman basket is also good. You know it’s hard to find gluten free fish and chips or seafood baskets etc., not to mention to find a good one.

Thank you for the most amazing gluten free chicken parma, chips & salad. Honestly would never know it was GF, so good! As a Coeliac it's so hard & tricky finding places to eat, however you guys have nailed it. Will we be back? Without a doubt! Gluten free & coeliac safe ✔️ separate fryers & prep area ✔️

If you are a Coeliac diner do not believe "find me a gluten free meal" rating of full stars, I just ordered the Tues special porterhouse. And the new waitress did not include the Coeliac stipulation. When it came out with chips. Instead of the usual roast potatoes. I asked for the chips to be changed. And was then told it cannot be changed as its the special. I have been getting this meal , Coeliac version, for years from the Grand Terminus.I am extremely disappointed in the service that I experienced tonight.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We had a booking for 31 people, so many disappointed people. Gluten free options on the menu not available so had to settle for chicken burgers, came out on bread. Kids were so upset. Burnt pizza, lamb cutlets that were not lamb and the roast of the day which was nursing home food. Spoke to manager who didn't care and was pretty much told to deal with it. AVOID AT ALL COST

We highly reccomend that you find the time to visit this pub.. There were great gluten free options for the. I ordered the steak, it was cooked to petfection... I look forward to visiting again next time we are up this way

We had a lovely dinner at this pub! All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the most amazing Gluten Free Prawn Linguine, it was the best food I’ve eaten in ages! Kids meals were a little pricey but they were nice and you do get an ice cream and soft drink with them. Also had a really nice expresso martini. They have a cool open fire with games that you can play while you wait for tea, they had really cool eclectic furniture, they had a great outdoor area with a big tv and a pool table. I really loved this pub, it was definitely worth stopping in for tea.

Didn’t stay here but the dining rooms were lovely. The outside is just lovely - so historical. We went for dinner. The tables in the dining room which were comfortably spaced apart, soon filled up with lots of customers. The food was excellent - we had a cheesy garlic bread, gluten free vegan pumpkin risotto, chicken parmigiana, tempura fish & chips and salt & pepper squid - we all cleaned our plates!! Service was friendly, prompt and efficient. I’d love be to go back here in warmer weather and have lunch in the outdoor gardens which looked lovely even in the dark

great burgers. staff were happy to accommodate for vegetarian and gluten dietary requirements. didn’t love that you could smell the smokers area from the bistro. staff were friendly.

We were looking for somewhere to have drinks and a light meal after a show at the Meat Market. I couldn’t book for our late time online, so I called and spoke to a super helpful staff member who managed to fit us in and let us know about their late-night menu. When we arrived, the same person greeted us and showed us to a table in the cosy dining area. We ordered one of everything from the small menu and it was all delicious. Our friends were gluten free and there were a number of options on the menu for them. My chip-connoisseur husband even said the chips were among the best in Melbourne! Fantastic service and seriously good food—this place is a gem.

I had a wonderful few nights here. My room was beautiful; all staff were lovely; One Spa was divine; the dining options were good, delicious and gluten-free friendly; the spa and sauna were nice; everything was great!! The resort is quite isolated, but there are little towns about 15-minute drives away. I highly recommend this resort for a getaway.

A Hidden Gem in Goorambat (Gooram-where?) I you're heading up towards the NSW Victorian border, make sure to stop by this small pub in Goorambat, 15mins from Benalla. The friendly staff greet you with a warm welcome and a cold beer or cider on tap. The lamb burger is a standout—juicy and full of flavour, showcasing the best of local meat. Apparently it's the pub owners own farmed meat. So it’s not just a meal; it’s a taste of the region. Families will love the massive beef schnitzel (although the chicken schnitzel is more tender). When our son ordered one, he was thrilled to receive two generous schnitzels, making it great value. Great atmosphere hotel. Comfortable room to rest after a day of MTB and trail riding. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had dinner here as well. The food was delicious. We have gluten food allergies and their menu/allergy matrix is the best we have ever seen. We knew exactly what to order without asking 1,000 questions. Keep up the awesome work. We highly recommend.

4 of us dined in today i had the chicken breast which was stuffed served with chat pot and greens. I have been coeliac for 23 years and it was without a doubt the best gf meal i have ever eaten dining out. Service and food faultless cannot wait to return again

NO DIETARY OPTIONS! Very disappointed at my visit to Wye Pub this afternoon. I have been here multiple times over the years and enjoyed food and drink here being gluten and dairy free (especially a gluten free fish and chips), however tonight there were no options provided to me. I could only order a $42 steak or a side salad, and even when this arrived the sauce definitely contained dairy and I was unwell. I used to love this pub however likely will never be back for a meal after this :(

Great place for lunch overlooking the Portsea pier, staff are friendly, service is good, we ordered a couple of pizzas for lunch and they were ok, gluten free option is also available. Definitely recommend a drive down the coast to visit this part of Victoria and this hotel definitely has everything for nice day out.

Do not eat here if you have dietary requirents. Worst options of any place I have eaten. Ate here for a friend's birthday. Lovely setting, but very limited options for dairy and gluten free and staff not interested in assisting. Not willing to do grilled chicken or steak and veg/salad, only offered a plate of asparagus or rocket and onion salad.
