If you’re in Cape Canaveral and looking for a breakfast experience that’s truly out of this world, the Moon Hut Café is the place to be! As a classically trained chef, I can confidently say this gem has nailed it on every level.
Our party of four tried a variety of dishes, and each one was a home run. The filet mignon steak and eggs were cooked to perfection, the steak tender and flavorful. The breakfast burrito was packed with hearty goodness, and the breakfast quesadilla was an absolute delight, bursting with rich, cheesy flavor. For our gluten-free vegetarian friend, the café went above and beyond with a customized dish of scrambled eggs with jalapeños, onions, and potatoes—fresh, vibrant, and delicious. It’s not always easy to find a spot that caters so well to specialty diets, but Moon Hut achieved liftoff!
Our server, Autumn, was a total joy. She was bubbly, attentive, and made our visit even more special by sharing some of the café’s rich history. The “Astronaut Room” is a must-see, filled with incredible photos and memorabilia that capture the local space exploration spirit. The walls tell a story, and the cozy vibe makes you want to stay and soak it all in.
Moon Hut Café isn’t just a meal—it’s an experience. Between the exceptional food, warm service, and unique atmosphere, it’s a spot I can’t recommend enough. Trust me, this place will have your taste buds over the moon!
