Moxies Gloucester Restaurant

Went for dinner. Service at front door excellent but then our waitress was not great. We saw her 10 minutes after we were seated. Then the front door greeter brought us our food and offered to refill our drinks as they were empty. She then dropped by to ask quickly if we needed salt or pepper. Then left again not leaving time for us to say anything till we needed our bill. The steak I ordered was overcooked I asked for medium rare and received medium to medium well depending on the part of the steak. My husband had the Hamburger which he enjoyed. We were not asked how the food was so I was unable to advise that the steak was overcooked. They did have a fair amount of gluten free options which I was thankful for.

Nice modern décore and spacious inside. Quick service and they do have plenty of servers so you can always grab one if you need something last minute. The appetizer was gluten free was very tasty. They roasted the cherry tomatoes so it is extra sweet. Combine with goat cheese very delicious. The mahi-mahi grill was too salty …. Over seasoned with salt and Cajun spice. But the pesto sauce with mashed potatoes was delicious. Overall it is a nice place to go and sample food and stay out late as they offer late dining during week days while everyone else close at 9 pm.
