A new absolute must for my family when we come to universal! Unexpectedly reasonable prices and genuinely fantastic food that you wouldn’t normally get at a theme park. The inside atmosphere was a lovely cross between whimsical under the sea, elegant and cozy. I can’t think of anywhere else I would rather end our long (but awesome!) day. Servers were fantastic, friendly, attentive and charismatic, everything you’d want them to be. There were even great options for my mom and her gluten allergy! Only drawback is it was absolutely freezing inside. Noticeably colder than regular chilly air conditioning in the summer, and we were so uncomfortable, we asked to be moved outside (which ended up being beautiful so no real problem).

FOOD ALLERGIES BEWARE!!! COULD LEAVE RESTAURANT IN AMBULANCE!!! Came to this restaurant for the past Labor Day weekend (2024) and my sister has a gluten allergy and specifically close this restaurant for the “gluten sensitive options” she had the Pad Thai (asked server Karen if this was gluten free and she said yes) and the moment we walked out of the restaurant she said she couldn’t breathe and didn’t think what she ate was gluten free! Stopped an employee outside of the restaurant and asked for emergency services to be called. Universal’s medical team rushed over and took her to their first aid area where within minutes had to administer an EPIPEN (she had NEVER used one before) even before an ambulance got there! The manager that was on shift came over and asked if she had eaten anything else before we had lunch that could have given her a reaction! No sir it literally happened within minutes of leaving/eating! She was rushed to the hospital for observation because she had never used an EpiPen before. We left the restaurant at 2:30pm she was in an ambulance by 2:40pm and the rest of my family was out of the park by 3:00pm waiting to hear if she would be ok! Restaurant said they followed proper protocol! My sister now has to carry an EpiPen for the rest of her life. Do not eat here if you have a food allergy they do not take allergies seriously they can be life or death! All our food was cold waited almost an 1 hr and 1/2 for our food and the server Karen served my brother (19) and alcoholic raspberry lemonade just named raspberry lemonade on the menu and didn’t even ask for ID and when we told her she said “oh you look like you’re 27”. To say our experience at this restaurant was a nightmare is an understatement.

I was very disappointed with this place. I ordered the rotisserie chicken, I had pita bread and a Caesar salad. Our party was of 9 people and we were seated in separate tables, I was ignored by the waiter when I wanted to put in my drink order. I wasn’t ask about any food allergies; I have seafood allergies and one of my friends is gluten intolerance. She order a dessert and gave her dessert that was contaminated. Luckily she didn’t get sick. I would not recommend this place for a party bigger than 4 people. This place is beautiful but wasn’t impressed with the food.
