Neat Bird Chicken & Whiskey

Their gluten free chicken was excellent. The service was outstanding. John Paul went above and beyond to take care of us. We will definitely be back.

Discovered this gem while passing through on the way to OBX. Decided to return on the trip home. The fairly-priced food was excellent, service was top-notch, and the atmosphere made me sip expertly-crafted drinks and watch Bob Ross videos all day. I especially appreciate their attention to allergy details, offering an extensive gluten-free menu, separate gluten-free fryer, and amazing GF fried chicken! What a special treat it was to enjoy a truly crispy fried BBQ chicken sandwich on a well-crafted GF bun. The deviled eggs and waffle fries were addictive! My picky eater kids were blown away by the "old school" chicken patty sandwich. This place truly has something for everyone. The only problem I have with Neat Bird is it's three and a half hours from home. Looking forward to my next trip through Chesapeake and my next visit to Neat Bird!

Gluten free options are amazing the fried chicken was amazing godsend and the service was amazing I went here for a quick lunch but I’ll be coming back for a date night for sure
