Used to be great, not anymore. Had a good experience here last year so we decided to come back for our anniversary. Arrived at 7 (on time) for our reservation and were informed our table needed a couple minutes to free up. After about 10 minutes we asked if we could sit at one of the three already available tables (2 and 3 tops) and they said no. We waited over 15 minutes and they finally sat us at our table. We ordered the gluten free bread and it was stale, still frozen in the middle, and had obviously just been microwaved so we sent it back. Genuinely the worst tasting gluten free bread I’ve ever had at a restaurant and that says a lot. Appetizers were unremarkable. For our mains we each ordered pasta - I got the tonnarelli in slipper lobster sauce with gluten free pasta. It was flavorless and cold - the little half cut lobsters were very cold which was yucky and hard to eat. I would have sent it back if I hadn’t already sent back the bread. Their gluten free pasta itself is actually very good. My partner’s food was not good but not terrible. We didn’t stay for dessert because at that point why risk it. Overall really sad since it had once been so good! Maybe they lost their chef, who knows. Won’t go back.

My nonni is 100% sicilian so i typically have a hard time enjoying italian restaurants. My friend Dom recommended his nona ‘s restaurant for the service & the gluten free pasta options and boy Nona did not disappoint. I have never had better service, food, ambiance, and drinks. Francisco was the most attentive waiter…even bringing me gluten free options when I was hell bent on cheating. This place is special beyond words, support this beautiful family business by eating an amazing home cooked meal.

This was such an overpriced disappointment. We did the pasta tasting menu for $75 and $85 for gluten free. Normally a tasting menu seems a bit special, you’re paying more to relax with your meal and try a few different options. But here they put a small portion of two different pastas on one ugly, long plate. The homemade pasta were very nice, even if the gluten free were undercooked, but the sauces were terrible. None tasted as if they were made from scratch, which would have been impossible with the speed we were served. All the sauces were very watery, and the tasting menu lacked a good variety. I had to douse the last sauce with Parmesan cheese it had such a soapy liske taste. I’d say maybe we had a full portion of their pasta, maybe a bit more, but for 2.5X the price. The servers tried on two occasions to take my plate while I was still eating to serve the next course. A five course tasting menu in under an hour is crazy. Plus, the place had a terrible atmosphere. There was a windowed room servicing station area that was messy. Directly behind me in one corner was a huge area covered in garbage bags. This is an absolute skip.
