I brought my visiting family here, half of whom are GF (myself included). Like everyone says, all the food is really good here! No compromises just because it’s gluten free. But what I’m really thankful for is the reservation ease. I couldn’t find the group size I needed on OpenTable, so I called and got a person immediately. Needed to call two more times to change the reservation to add someone / change time, and again to confirm they could accommodate a wheelchair 😂 I felt so high maintenance and they were SUPER nice about it. For that alone, 5 stars. Will definitely bring other people here because it’s, to me, in a “classic NYC” neighborhood and gives classy vibes for reasonable price point.

Friedman’s was a great dinner restaurant to check out, it is close to Times Square with high-quality food options, at a much more reasonable price! In addition they cater to people with dietary restrictions such as gluten free!

By no doubt highly recommend if you are in the area. Very safe for allergies, fully gluten free. All the food was fresh and every bite surprised me more than it was before. Usually I am not a big fan of raw fish and sushi but this place really opened my mind to explore more! Sitting at the bar and not the table really made the experience more special.

There's really no reason to go here unless three conditions exist; 1. You keep kosher. 2. You're Gluten Free and Kosher. 3. You have money to light on fire. The menu is amazingly unimaginative and, honestly, lazy. The quality of the food is...fine. But this is NYC. So, really, by that standard, not really fine. And the prices, for what you get, are off the chart. Yes, there's a kosher upcharge, but $29 for a burger, no fries included, is absurd. The place is doing business as it was packed with well-heeled UWSiders and younger ones with their parents' credit card. So, perhaps they're thinking why change it if people are laying out for this. Sorry, you seem like nice people. But it's just gotta be better.

This place was truly five stars from start to finish. They were having some issues with their online ordering portal. I called and spoke to a gentleman who is very nice. Took my order and even met me outside in my car. The food was spectacular. Everything was super fresh. It’s great that it’s gluten-free most things. Our stomachs did not feel any pain. The food was absolutely delicious and it seems like it’s great management and owners. Great find especially if you’re gluten-free Will definitely be back

So accommodating. We called ahead of time for our special requests for food allergies and accessibility items. They provided a plan for us during that call and we're ready. They helped get us in seated with all accessibility items. No judgment. Inviting and welcoming for our group. Fed within a reasonable time with absolutely delicious food. The gluten free dishes that we ordered were phenomenal. Such a nice staff and amazing food.

This is not a dedicated gf kitchen. They make pizzas and do not have separate cooking spaces. The staff is very educated and knowledgeable about allergies though.

We had an excellent dining experience at Tamarind Tribeca. The food was tasty, fresh, and exceeded my expectations. The waiters were knowledgeable and made great suggestions, especially for gluten-free dishes. The drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect for a date night. Overall, 10/10.

This was an amazing place to celebrate my birthday. Everything from the Butter Service Garnish to the Caesar salad and the truffle lobster toast were phenomenal. I had high hopes after seeing the reviews and the gluten-free options. The owner and staff were surprisingly hostile to our party as first timers, commenting directly to us (and others) throughout the meal about how absurd it was that we did not have cash on hand for payment. Very bizarre, and something I’ve never experienced before. The gluten-free pizza tasted worse than a Domino’s pizza, and was twice the cost ($25). I can’t recommend much about this venue.

Came to Palma because of rave reviews of their GF pastas and GF food. Overall they had a great selection of Gf foods and also listed what was DF. Sensitive to allergies. Service was pretty basic but the atmosphere was lovely. Mixed reviews on the food (see below) but would definitely return and would recommend to anyone with gluten and dairy dietary restrictions. Our appetizers were fantastic- had the fritto misto and the octopus- perfect for sharing for 4 people. There were plenty of GF main options, but only two pastas labeled GF (although the GF fettuccine can be made with any sauce). I was very underwhelmed by the GF fettuccine with mushrooms and truffles. The Gf pasta was cooked “al dente” but that made it a weird texture. Not all of the mushrooms were well cooked. My daughter had the parpadelle bolognese and the pasta was somewhat falling apart. My husband was happy with the ravioli although it was a small portion. Overall 4/5 on the food, some hits and misses but we generally had an enjoyable meal.

Fun experience sitting on modified ground chairs like you can find in Asia! Food is vegan and modern, which surprised me. The food was okay! The presentation and service are great but I was not particularly impressed with the food. There is a gluten free section on the menu. Even though the other food options don’t look like they’d have any gluten, they have traces (e.g. sauce for one ingredient in mixed rice uses wheat)

As a gluten free girlie, this is one of my favorite places to eat when I'm in the city. I get the pad thai and it's consistently delicious. Also, the staff is always attentive but today Kade helped me and she was absolutely lovely. Kind smile, super sweet, and on point with everything! Loved it.

Melanie was our server and was awesome. She was very attentive and very accommodating for my mom who has celiac disease. My mom always gets nervous ordering at places but Melanie made it a point to make sure she was as comfortable as possible and had nothing to worry about. Definitely recommend if you’re gluten intolerant or celiac!

I used to love this place, but I feel they shouldn’t advertise having gluten free pizza options if they will always be out before the day starts out and don’t try to have enough dough left for people. If you are gluten free, its best to avoid unless you wish on a genie to get lucky.

My daughter has celiac and this is one of the rare places that we have felt safe to take her out to eat. They have the ability to substitute almost half the menu to GF and the pasta was some of the best GF pasta I have had! As long as you communicate clearly the need to dishes to be GF this place is great!

We celebrated our wedding at abcV, and our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The food was absolutely incredible—each dish better than the last. With 12 family-style dishes, there was an impressive variety, and every one felt distinct with no repetition. The presentation was stunning, adding to the overall experience. While most of our guests weren’t plant-based, they were all delighted by the meal, and our gluten-free guests had plenty of delicious options to choose from. The service exceeded our expectations—every staff member was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Having dined at many vegan and vegetarian restaurants worldwide, we can confidently say this was one of the best meals we’ve had. A special thank you to Zac for his exceptional help in organizing our event so smoothly.

Uva Next Door I have to recommend that everyone goes and eats here if you are in NYC! They have dedicated gluten free kitchen appliances - I just had: Eggplant and whipped ricotta Tuscan Kale Salad Margherita Pizza Diavola Pizza Cappelletti (made in house) with Pesto Sauce Branzino with quinoa salad Cheesecake and a chocolate cake 10's across the board!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing staff too!

I’m really happy with my experience at Trinity Place! The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about gluten-free options. They even have a separate gluten-free menu with a great variety of starters and main dishes. I had the tuna tartare and the salmon — both were absolutely delicious! They come with gluten-free bread, but can also be served with regular bread on the side for those who don’t need to eat gluten-free. For the main course, I had the duck risotto, which was spectacular. They also offer gluten-free drinks like beer. Everything was incredibly tasty, and best of all, my stomach felt great afterwards!

Anixi is a creative and modern twist on traditional Mediterranean food. My friend and I shared a bunch of sides. Standout dishes were the preserved lemon cured tuna with black seaweed caviar and the taramasalata. Granted, the dishes did not quite taste like their non-vegan counterparts, but major kudos for creativity and invention! The tuna was made with tomato, the caviar with seaweed, and the taramasalata with coconut. I also ordered the Mujadara (a rice and lentil dish) which was a bit salty for my liking. My friend reports that her chicken dish tasted just like chicken! Overall, a great dining experience. The restaurant also took great care with my gluten allergy (celiac).

Spot on - we went there for a holiday lunch and tried both a Latke egg special and the chicken shawarma. The flavors were well balanced and the staff was very knowledgeable with my girlfriend’s food allergies. They have good gluten free options for appetizers, entrees and desserts. The fresh mint tea was very refreshing and paired well with the flavorful dishes.

I had a fantastic experience at Lindens, my company hosted a dinner for a group of 15-17 and the entire staff were super helpful and provided great service. Especially want to give Macky a big shout out, he was very attentive and even went the extra mile to remember everyones names!
