The staff was very nice and friendly when I went in (much more than many other shops in the area). The chocolate is expensive, but the taste was surprisingly good. It reminded me a bit of Nói SÃrÃus Icelandic chocolate, in that the dark chocolate is smooth and not all that bitter. They had a few dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan options, though the label notes that it ‘may contain’ certain allergens, which leads me to believe that the bars are not made on dedicated equipment (so those with extreme allergies wouldn’t be able to eat it safely). I was intrigued by the dark chocolate and honey jelly bar (they call it a ‘slab’). It had the consistency of Joyva jelly rings, with a nice light honey flavor. It also didn’t contain gelatin (it uses pectin). I got a macadamia milk chocolate bar as a gift and the people I gave it to really loved it. I’d definitely buy from Noosa again if I had the option. That said, I don’t know if that’s possible now that I’m back in the U.S. This is definitely a nice shop to visit if you’re in the area.
