North Brewing Company - Timberlea Restaurant/Taproom & Retail To Go

My girlfriend and I went here for the first time today. The main thing that drew us here was the gluten-free options as my girlfriend is gluten intolerant (not celiac). There’s not many places you can get a deep fried gluten-free chicken burger in Halifax. She was very happy with her burger as she couldn’t taste any difference with the batter being gluten-free and she also said her bun was excellent. It didn’t fall apart and the taste was really good as well. We were also told that they have a dedicated fryer. I had the exact same burger, but with all the gluten. The fries were hand cut and the food was overall excellent. We were greeted by the bartender when we arrived, who was extremely friendly, and we also had amazing service from Trevor, our server. We both highly recommend this place based on our first experience and we will definitely be back.

Went to the North Brewing Company for lunch with a large group for a birthday celebration. We had three people with gluten allergies and a vegetarian in the group. Our experience could not have been better. They were so accommodating to our needs, the food was amazing, and the beers were delicious. Our server Trevor was also top notch. Just a great experience for everyone in our crew. I highly recommend you try the North Brewing Company.

North Brewing Timberlea Gluten free fried chicken sandwich! I haven't had a fried chicken sandwich in 2 years due to the development of a gluten intolerance. The staff were great! I actually thought my sever was a Manager because she was so informative and knowledgeable! Yup, their fryer is a dedicated GF fryer. They even have allergy picks for their meals! Great gem we found!
